Commercial Projects:

Town Hall/Library Sitework - Town of Mills River, Mills River, NC (Summer 2009)
Description: In preparation for a new town hall and library building site and parking lot, approx. 18,000 cubic yards of import material, erosion control measures installed, storm drainage, Parking Lot and Drive construction, gravel base and asphalt paving, and water line installation. All at the direction of Mr. William G. Lapsley of W.G.L.A. Engineering of Asheville, NC.

Leisure Craft Sewer Force Main - Hendersonville, NC (Summer 2010)
Description: Install 2400 LF of sewer force main along with lift station to manufacturing facility in Hendersonville, NC

2009 Comprehensive Water Line Improvements - Town of Marshall, Marshall, NC (2010)
Description: 10,000 to 12,000 LF of Water line installation, Water Storage Tank Demo and site preparation for new tank, roadway improvements to upgrade and extend water service for the Town of Marshall at the direction of Michael Goforth, PE of High Country Engineering, PC Asheville,

Walnut Creek Water Line Restoration -  Marshall, NC (Winter/Spring 2009)
Description:  Removal and replacement of +/- 10,600 LF of 8” ductile water line at the direction of William G. Lapsley & Associates of Asheville, NC

Asheville Eye Associates - Hendersonville, NC  (Fall 2008 - Spring 2009)
Description:  Commercial Sitework for Beverly-Grant, Inc of Asheville, NC consisting of  soils imports, erosion control, extensive storm drainage system which included AquaShield’s AquaSwirl System to filter storm water before leaving the site, curb and gutter, stone and asphalt paving.

Greenville Hospital System Greer Campus  -  Greer, SC   (Fall 2008) 
Description:  Contracted by Course Doctors of Hendersonville, NC to implement outlet structure and emergency overflow improvements to an existing +/- 5 acre lake dam and complete construct a new +/-3 acre lake upstream of the existing lake.  Included clearing and grubbing, mass earth excavation and relocation during dam construction, intricate concrete outlet structures and piping, and meticulous erosion control & turf reinforcement implementation.  All within just a few hundred feet of the newly occupied hospital and at the direction of engineer David W. Elliott, P.E. of DesignStrategies, LLC of Greenville, SC   

Cummings Cove W.W.T.P. - Hendersonville, NC (2006 - 2007)
Description: The Cummings Cove Company, LLC owners of Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club expanded their waste water treatment facilities to an 84,000 gallon state of the art treatment plant.

Laurel Park Medical Center - Laurel Park, NC (2006)
Description: Sitework included 15,000 CY import, storm drainage including underground storm water retention system. Owner/Builder: Beverly-Grant, Inc.

Regional Medical Park - Asheville, NC (2005)
Description: Another Beverly-Grant, Inc. project. Project included mass rock excavation, mass earthwork and a complex underground storm water storage/detention system.

Lastrada Restaurant - Lake Lure, NC (2004)
Description: Sitework including 25,000 CY export, Erosion Control & Storm Drainage for Beverly-Grant, Inc. of Asheville, NC

WCA Shiloh Landfill-Travelers Rest, SC (2005)
Description: Mass Excavation of 220,000 cubic yards of rock & dirt. First of three phases to remove a total of 800,00 cubic yards.  Phase 1 was completed in 90 days.

Deerpark at the Biltmore Estate - Asheville, NC (2005)
Description: Commercial site work for Beverly-Grant, Inc., which involved a 300 space parking lot along with the sitework.

Margaret R. Pardee Hospital- Hendersonville, NC (2001-2002)
Description: Earthwork/Sitework consisting of 40,000 CY mass excavation, 1800 CY mass blasting, Water and Sewer Line extensions, Storm Drainage, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalk, Concrete and Asphalt Paving, Striping for a new Parking Deck and ER Addition.

Carolina Professional Park - Hendersonville, NC (2000)
Description: Earthwork/Sitework; Working directly with the engineer -- Import 15,000 CY fill, Concrete/segmented retaining walls, Laser level building sites, Water and Sewer Line extensions, Storm Drainage, Erosion Control. Clark and Co. built some exceptional walls.

Henderson County Public Schools - Hendersonville, NC (2002-2003)
Description: Additions to two of Henderson County’s schools (Flat Rock Middle and Rugby Middle) involving massive storm drainage, 8000 CY soils import, erosion control installation, laser leveling of building pads, sewer line extensions, additional curb & gutter and paving for a new parking lot.

Residential Projects to Date:

Wade Hampton POA - Cashiers, NC  (Winter/Spring 2009)
Description:  Contracted through Course Doctors, Mr. Bud Smith, chief officer of the Wade Hampton Property Owners Association, chose Miller Brothers to handle the installation of +/- 5500 LF of 6” C900 PVC water line in their community in the mountains of western NC.  Project entailed running new lines from existing wells to the main storage tank through the development and down to the golf course, connection to the existing storage tank, and an enormous amount of trench rock removal.

Northwoods Subdivision  - Hendersonville, NC  (2007 - 2008)
Description:  Turnkey construction of a small residential community for an out of town developer based in Indiana.  Project include clearing & grubbing, erosion control installation and maintenance, road construction, storm drainage, water line extension, and asphalt paving.

Cummings Cove Phase III / Little Sunset Court - Hendersonville, NC
(2007 - 2008)
Description: Turn key construction of an additional mile or so of infrastructure to the existing 600 acre gated golfing community. Project includes road construction, storm drainage, water lines, sewer lines and lift stations, and paving of streets. Another William G. Lapsley & Associates designed project.

Seven Falls Golf & River Club - Etowah, NC (2007 - 2008)
Description: A 2000 plus acre private community. Seven Falls will feature an Arnold Palmer Premier Golf Club and a River Lodge and Outfitter located on the French Broad River. Civil designs by William G. Lapsley & Associates, P.A. of Asheville, NC.

The Cascades of Lake Lure - Lake Lure, NC (2006 - 2007)
Description: Another gated community designed by Odom, Hollifield & Associates, Inc.

The Sanctuary @ Tryon - Tryon, NC (2006 - 2007)
Description: 200 acre gated residentialcommunity which included mass earthwork, erosion control and storm drainage. Civil designs by Odom, Hollifield & Associates, Inc. of Forest City, NC.

Solomon’s Cove - Hendersonville, NC (2006)
Description: Turnkey residential subdivision from clear & grub to paving and hydroseeding. DOT spec roads which included almost 2 miles of water line extension. Project managed by JLS Builders of Hendersonville.

Shoal Ridge - Rutherford County, NC (2006)
Description: Residential home sites situated on 2500 LF of roadway along a ridge top. A Devonshire project managed by Hickory Nut Construction Co of Lake Lure, NC

Ridgeview at SWH- Hendersonville, NC (2005-2006)
Description: This was a 70 acre 60 home gated community. Turnkey construction project included: clearing & grubbing, EC, road construction, water lines & paving.

Ashley Woods Subdivision-Phase IV: Avery's Creek, NC (2005)
Description: This was the fourth & final phase of a residential subdivision. Turnkey sitework included utilities & paving.

Riverwind Subdivision: Hendersonville, NC (2004)
Description: Retirement community-102 homesites. Complete road construction with all underground utilities.

Skytop Farms: Hendersonville, NC (2004)
Description: Gated Community with dozens of estate-sized homesites. This was a complete turnkey project including road construction, erosion control, pond expansion & restoration, storm drainage, waterline extensions, asphalt & concrete paving, & landscaping.

Creek Side Subdivision - Hendersonville, NC (1999-2000)
Description: An 80 acre formal community on a pristine piece of mountain property with numerous streams and a waterfall. The owners were to be residents of this community and demanded the highest quality of workmanship. Earthwork/Sitework consisted of roadway clearing and grubbing, erosion control installation and maintenance, road construction per DOT specs., extensive storm drainage, and water line extensions. We participated in some of the initial site prep for the owners’ residents.
